@SS-GEN @betaphi It is gamey, it does permit extra moves. We usually call it a “strafe”. You can also get extra moves by squatting on a friendly carrier and riding along, though there are some downsides to that too (planes as cargo, etc.)

If the sub is the only remaining German sea unit, it can retreat to SZ 92.
If there are other German sea units surviving the combat, all German ships (that were part of the attack) have to retreat to SZ 104,
as only subs may pass through the Strait of Gibraltar regardless of which power controls it.HTH :-)
