Gotta say, my buddy and I have a rule that you can’t quit unless the guy with the advantage says its ok. Not much fun being the allies when the axis player has some things go wrong and then quits:)
I did a G1 against him and one of the most important battles went dreadfully wrong for me!! I proceeded to lose Norway to Russia/UK for the next 2 rounds (G2 and G3). It was my fault cause I did not plan for the battle going bad but we played that game through round 10 or so until it was painfully obvious that I was not going to win. I learned a lot by playing the game out and it was fun for my friend being the allies. He got to win and got to formulate a strategy based on the allies getting the upper hand early. It helped me to restructure my G1 to make it more dice proof (if there is such thing).
Not trying to be mean and I am not mad. Just some advice that sometimes, even if it looks very bad, you can learn something from trying to stick it out and see if you can still pull out a win. Dice can change at any point or in any one significant battle:)
