well, i had one of my classic rolls. had only 1 hit with the rest of the attackers. don’t know if you want to lose your destroyer or your cruiser.
FYI i tend to have incredibly bad luck in fleet battles and with attacking aircraft. :roll:

The SZ111 battle was awful, not to mention ridiculous. It’ll keep me from complaining about dice for a long, long time.

Yes, completely. It’s an arguement I’ve had with others many times about aircraft, and it goes like this:
Aircraft, for the most part, can be used every turn. When you lose an aircraft, you don’t just lose it the same way you lose an armor… you lose it for the next turn, and the next, and every turn therafter. It’s an ongoing ripple effect.
After many years of playing, I’ve finally come to regard all aircraft as equivalent to capital ships in importance, because they aren’t one-shot units like infantry, artillery, mech, etc. They can have an effect (attack, deter, defend, posture, etc.) every single turn, unlike any other unit in the game. As Germany, I buy a fighter every turn after G1 just on that principle alone, and it rarely fails me.
So yes. You may or may not believe I’m being truthful here, but I’m ok with an equivalent amount of disaster at some point to the allies, so that we can get an even game.
