I’m stuck… I downloaded the file of your last post and loaded it in triple A. The Play button is grayed out and I don’t see what to do… Do I have to read through the text of your combat move here to see what you brought? Can I not see the map in the middle of your turn?

Now I got it. You have to open a G40 map first, then load, apparently…

first you click on PBEM, then you click on load game and load the file.

probably better to click load game first, then click start PBEM game.

once you are in the game, click on the “game” tab, then “show history”.
if you want to run the battles out to test them, you can open the game in “local mode” which is just above the “Start PBEM” button.

Thought I tried that, and it gave me the new game screen and maybe I needed to not worry and continue, but it looked like it was going to start a new game or something.
Scramble the Scots to 111
Nothing to 109I clicked “show” to show where a sub came from on the map. I didn’t see a way to hide it again. So I clicked undo and it undid the move. Then I redid the move so it should be OK, but will be listed in a different sequence than you had.
Is there a way to show all the moves graphically (with red arrows) without having to click show on every single combat move?

no you click through every move. you can’t display all arrows at once. that would look crazy on a big move! :-o
doesn’t matter what you do with the map i send to you, when i actually proceed with the dice i am doing it with the map i sent out. you are not actually doing anything to the save file when you manipulate the map from your end.

Destroyer, hit to battleship
Tell me this program does naval warfare correctly. I notice it rolled the battleship and bombers together. If I had a sub and you had no destroyers, they would need to be separated. It does that, I assume?

it rolls attacking and defending subs separately. to my knowledge it does naval warfare correctly.
