Allies: -.18
Odonis(Axis) vs. Brado(Allies) - No Tech - Alpha 3.9 Global

You can practice a few dice rolls on her first before you start your turn if you’d like…
-
Sorry, meant your first turn… :-D
-
Ok, let’s try it out…
SZ 106
Rolls: 1@2; Total Hits: 01@2: (3)
-
Ok, two rounds of combat now in the same thread…
SZ 106
Rolls: 1@2; Total Hits: 01@2: (6)
Return Fire
Rolls: 1@2; Total Hits: 11@2: (2)

Germany Turn 1
Builds:
1 AC, 2 trans, 1 IPC saved
-
Ok, great! Looks like you have the dicing down. Also, if you have, say for instance, 1 destroyer(DD) attacking another DD. You don’t have to roll the rounds one at a time. You can do this :
Attacker(1 DD)
Rolls: 10@2; Total Hits: 210@2: (4, 2, 6, 4, 5, 2, 4, 3, 5, 6)
Defender(1 DD)
Rolls: 10@2; Total Hits: 510@2: (2, 5, 5, 1, 4, 1, 6, 1, 2, 3)
That way, whoever gets a hit first wins. Or, could be both get a hit in the same round. Let’s see what happens in this battle.
-
So, counting from the left to the right. The defender wins. He got a hit in the 1st round, whereas the attacker didn’t get a hit until the 2nd round…
Also, here are the acronymns you can use :
Inf(Infantry)
Art(Artillery)
Arm(Tanks)
Mech(Mech Inf)
SS(Subs)
DD(Destroyer)
CC or CA(Cruiser)
AC or CV(Aircraft carrier)
FTR(Fighters)
Tac(Tac bombers)
SBR(Strategic bombers) -
Use this map file and follows my instructions that I PM’d you…
-
Brado,
Instructions followed, this is the same map I’ve been working with so far. I have no other maps than this - even the map I just downloaded from you is this one I’ve attached. I still see the cruisers in SZ 112 whereas in 3.9 I believe these have been shifted to SZ111 and SZ110.
Is this the map you’re using??
Odonis(Axis) vs Brado(Allies) - No Tech - Alpha 3.9 - 1a Germany.AAM
-
I just opened the map I sent you and it has no sea units in SZ112. Did you save the map I sent you in a different folder titled, “Alpha 3” then open the map up using the File, Open feature in Battlemap?
-
Ah, I’m an idiot. All good!
BTW - I’ve been typing in my combat moves so you should receive these soon.
Thanks!
-
Just opened the map you sent me. You sent me the Alpha 2 map. Take the first map file I sent you. Save it on a folder on your desktop titled, “Alpha 39” Then, go to Battlemap. Click File, then Open. Go to the folder on your desktop titled, “Alpha 39” Select the file I sent you titled, “Alpha_3.aam” That should be the Alpha 3.9 map file. After you’ve verified it is the Alpha 3.9 map, save that file as, “Odonis(Axis) vs Brado(Allies) - No tech - Alpha 39 Global - 1aGermany” and save it in a folder on your desktop titled, “Brado” under a A&A directory.
The bottom line is, after you save the file I originally sent you in your Alpha 39 folder on your desktop. It should pull up the Alpha 3.9 map. If it doesn’t make sure you have the T40.gim folder in your Battlemap directory. That’s the only other thing I can think of.

Glad you got it figured out… :-D
