Does anyone know if it's possible to save a game with waiting for OOL?

What happens if you hit the "cancel" button on the select casualties window?

Certainly.  Just x-out or minimize the window, then save.  Until you choose, the engine will still be waiting for you to make the selection.  Give it a try.

Stand for Order Of Loss, in other words in what order you want to lose your units in the battle.
