Everyone knows how awesome the minitures are, but I think it always lacked the true feeling of a massive battle where 50 Infantry Units and 20 Tank units do a full fledge attack. This game is a post to put that feeling into you.
Axis and Allies: BATTLEGROUND
Setup:
Use any map for land minitures
Combat system: Each unit has a 1d12 roll
There 3 to classes of units; Foot, Vehicle, and Air
VEHICLE FIRING: @ a Vehicle Rolls a 1-6: miss Rolls a 7: -1 HP 8: -2 HP 9: -3 10: -3 11: -4 12: DEAD
@ a Foot unit 1-6 Miss 7: -0 8: -1 9: -3 10: -4 11: DEAD 12: DEAD
FOOT UNIT FIRING:
@ a Foot unit 1-8 Miss 9: -1 10: -2 11: -3 12: DEAD
@ a Vehicle 1-7 a miss 8: -1 9: -1 10: -2 11: -3 12: -4
Foot units: Infantry, Artillery, AA gun Armor Units: Tank, Mech
AIR COMBAT
Move just like air units in Minis Use a d6
Fighter (All units) 1: DEAD 2: -3 3: -2
Tac bomber (All units) 4: -2 3: -3 2: -4 1: DEAD
Bomber (all units) 4: -3 3: -4 2: -6 1: DEAD
AIR DEFENSE Mech and Artillery can gave light AA defense. Rolls a 1d6 1: -2 2: -1
AA gun can use Heavy AA defense. Rolls 1d6 1: -2 2: -3 3: -3 UNIT STATS:
Infantry: Range:2 HP:3 Move:1 Mech: Range:3 HP:5 Move:3 Artillery: Range:7 HP:4 Move:1 AA gun: Range:3 (only air units) HP:5 Move:1 Tank: Range:4 HP:8 Move:2 Air units have range 3 (bomber 1) Move like air units in AA minis and have 5 HP
Setup:
20 Infantry, 14 Mech, 8 Artillery, 12 Tanks, 4 Fighters, 3 Tac, 2 Bombers, 3 AA guns
