Original game question

Hi Guys

I have been playing through the game and have just run into a problem

The problem is when I go to place new units I get a box that pops up and says "error unable to place units" and it basically freezes up the game as I cant click on the menu to exit it. Has anybody else seen this? it hasn't happen until now which is dozens of turns into the game.

Is this for the Axis and Allies CD or Triple A?
