How to post pictures?

I've designed bills on photoshop to use for global 1940 and I'd really like to share them, so I started a post here after uploading all my pictures to photobucket. I noticed when I hit preview after writing the post, it didn't show the actual pictures but simply the [img][/img] code. I then went down to additional options and noticed you could upload jpegs directly, but i did this with one of my jpegs, hit preview again, and there was still no picture.

So how do I do it?

you need a higher post count to do that.

10-15 posts before it will allow you to link. Try the Additional options + in the post frame and it might allow you to attach an image.

Is it best to upload pics, or can you provide a link to your flickr account?  I am new and wanted to post pics of a custom board but can't seem to get anything to work!
