I recently published some news on the Angels 20 A&A Air Force Miniatures and somebody thought it would be a great idea to steal the content. I've notified the author as well as wordpress but to no avail.

I need the crawlers to understand that the post on this site is the original or else I will get dinged for duplicate content.

You mean somebody cut and pasted the article without posting a reference link to A&A.org? While we exist souly to promote and support these games it goes without saying that the author should be credited with the article.

The cut and pasted the article and did provide a link back but to other attribution. Even with attribution, it is a violation of copyright. If you look at the bottom of the website, not the forums, you'll see the Copyright notice, not a Creative Commons notice.
