So what hotel/motel are most people staying at? I would probably be coming for one night.

I think Young Grasshopper is going to post some info on the hotels in the next few days, which will be good because i'm going to spend two nites and I dont want to stay in a dive. Plus it would be nice to be in walking distance to Y.G.'s, I'll drive to the event

The hotel info for YG is all near his place.  I've posted hotel info for Oshawa here (none are dives btw. i purposely avoided them lol,and all are at the HWY401/Stevenson road off ramp) and on the offical FMGC2012 FAQ's at iwillnevergrowup.forumer.com

Thats true, the hotels around my place are not near the convention, and most of them are dives.

I just purchased my flight, I arrive at 12:01am on Saturday morning (ouch) and I depart at 7am on Tuesday.

Earlier in this thread and at the official FAQ's at iwillnevergrowup.forumer.com (events forum, FMGC2012 FAQ's).  There's 3 hotels listed all at/near the foot of Stevenson Road (the street the event is on) and highway 401 (which if you're flying into Toronto is the highway you will be taking, heading East, to get to Oshawa).

The Best Western and Comfort Inn are the 2 right at the offramp.  Travel lodge is on the other side of the highway and west a bit.
