After much polling, reading, and scaling to what is pleasing to the eye and what makes sense for new sculpts as well as add pieces for house rules and supplement FMG and OOB, here is my proposed list.
There will be approximately 50 pieces in the set so all the sculpts listed below will be times four.

P-51 Fighter (Late War)
P-40 Fighter (Early War)
B-25 Medium Bomber
C-46 Commando Transport plane
TBF Avenger Torpedo Bomber (TAC)

Airborne Infantry

M5 Stuart Light Tank
M7 Priest SP Artillery
M18 Hellcat tank Destroyer
GMC CCKW-352 2.5 ton truck

Casablanca Class Escort carrier
Nevada Class Battleship (early War with Tripod masts)

If any last minute suggestions, please let me know now. You are never ignored but not always considered.  wink
Thanks

Just so we do not duplicate efforts here, the following are in the COMBAT UNITS - USA set and are already being sculpted:

B-24 Liberator

Douglas C-47 Skytrain

Grumman TBM Avenger

HGB, Ditto for me nice list.  If this sales goes off great, consider adding landing craft. LSTs, LCMs or LVCPs in your second US group. grin grin

IMHO, I would drop the Duplicate and spend your sculpting money on the Landing Craft? I know how expensive it is.  You could get them done in all colours and add a whole new unit to the game?  or what about a PT boat?

1/1/1/3  Can only operate in Coastal territories.

What is really needed is an alternate transport...LST  IN house rules players would be required to buy them in order to perform invasions, regulating the AP to transport from port to port only.

this is a 0-0-2-5 unit, which carries 2 land units of any type direct from a friendly land space to an enemy land space separated by ONE SEA ZONE.  This alone makes the game greatly more realistic and island hopping will be the norm as well as realistic drop zones for invasions.

Now the allies must stage in UK before going to France, allies will need a foothold in Africa in order to invade Italy. No more direct invasions from New York to Norway nonstop.

and no more of these guys sailing around the world in transports plucking off areas where you cant send men fast enough because infantry moves one space in 6 months, while a ship moves double speed and lands guys behind the lines...poppycock!

Obviously ports will be more important with these rules.

The Devistator was an early war U.S  naval torpedo bomber. Also you could do a Helldiver dive bomber.

FMG is doing the Helldiver. Please be aware, my sculpts are also for the OOB gamers who do not want to change color. I am trying my best to be different from FMG and give OOB players good looking pieces.

IL, great idea.  I have never liked playing the Germans and get invaded directly from America.  I had hoped that Larry Harris would have fixed this in newer games but he never has.  Your idea is perfect and should be incorporated into any future rules published.

You can't invade anywhere in Europe directly from USA, even with the naval base extra move.  You have to stage at Gibraltar first, then decide where to send your invasion force.
Even in earlier games with smaller maps, there were less spaces between America and Europe, but you didn't have naval bases so it still takes more than one turn to get across the Atlantic.
Frankly, I think this LST unit would restrict amphibious invasions too much.  In some cases, it would make an amphib landing impossible.

HBG, you mentioned there was one duplicate to FMG's set;  the Grumman TBF Avenger, right?  Isn't the GMC Truck also the same as FMG's truck?  Of course, since you will be using the OOB Olive color and FMG will be matching their combat dice, both items will kind of be different.  Plus, I don't know any alternate US trucks anyway.

right because in many cases it was impossible. The idea of invading some area 1,000 miles away does not make sence. Invasions can only be supported by short travel from supported areas that you previously staged.

The US player does a direct invasion of france or Norway, though it takes 2 turns its still done and not realistic. So in order to invade Italy, the allies must stage first in Algeria, Tunisia or Libya. Gibraltar is too far, but they can get to southern Europe.

remember these are optional rules...

I am adding a late war fighter, early war fighter, escort carrier, medium bomber, tank destroyer, SP Artillery, light tank.... All different from FMG.
The OOB players need some of the same units you are producing but in OOB color. I will make another US set down the road.

My GMC truck is different.
