Nice map IL, reminds me of Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.....but with some flavor to it

I would like to see a Global Hex game like this. Or even just a duel theatres board (a similar map that has its eastern edge at Hawaii)
you may very well need a 8 foot long surface

But it would be the most spectacular thing ever
I could just imagine a hex full of carriers and planes approaching a hex full of battleships around pearl harbor.

Ports letting ships move like 6 hexes (normal movement being 4)
Hexes are awsome.

I have that map/game. Its like "high school science project" done in crayons and colored grease pencils that were photocopied from originals. It is nothing like this map.

This is how AA should look except with areas carved out. No roundels, just flags. And just one flag per nation, not 15.

Hey IL this sounds like a great idea. This map looks better then the one I am using to create my N. Africa game. If this map was large enough it would be great. I am using the Tide of Iron, Memoir 44 and Table Tactic units so I need a large map. More detail with these units. Actually need hexes about the size of your BotB map. The map that I have now does not have hexes just odd shaped territories. Of course with this map of yours I could add the western front of Europe to the game.

Not my map. This comes from somebody else.

Problem is when you blow the hex to 1 inch, the image is not the best. It is marginal and perhaps ill have to scan the original when it comes out and use it then.

Don't know what you're talking about.

Manchester should, of course, be in 0934.  I'd put Hamburg in 1228.

One or two slip-ups with the flags, but overall a very impressive map.

I worked on the Wars of the Roses map (the heraldry is mine), and I'm developing an expanded version of Warriors of God.
