The main allied strategies still hold up. The one that becomes more dominant would be shuffling 20 units a round into Spain from USA… But even this has its flaws.

Has anyone played the following……post axis and allies…
Germany and Italy vs. Japan
or
USA, UK, France, and ANZAC vs. Russia and China (with china able to leave china). -
No. The normal game already takes 15 hours.
In such games, what if Russia and US share a territory?

The pre-req would be to withdraw to your own territories. I know, the idea would extend the game to mega hours, but……if global domination is your vice, then why not?
Oh well. Nice to fantisize…Like if germany and Italy win, then they fight it out and if allies win, then the last 3 empires fight for influence. USA, FRANCE, and UK (with ANZAC)

I like it in theory, anyways. I’ve got to say, though, that the closer I get to the end game, the more I want to start a new game to try out my new strategies and ideas.

I actually like it too, particularly Japan vs. Italy and Germany. I think this particular scenario would work pretty well too, as they will likely control roughly equivalent IPCs.

If it is an axis win….my money is on Japan…
