• when there is more than one coasts for a convoy marker who gets the hit? what happens  both the axis and the allies own a coast does this count as an act of war when a power is still neutral?

  • if you want to affect a country it becomes at war with the affecting country, however you have a choice to either disrupt a country or not. kreig is this correct?

  • wait so you don’t have to attack the convoy and still be in that sea Zone?

  • You must already be at war to conduct a convoy raid.  The raid occurs during the collect income phase of the nation that is being raided.  In rare cases, say for example the axis control Normandy and the allies control Spain, and both the UK and germans have a sub in SZ 105 during the collect income phase of the owners of the territories, they would both suffer the income loss.

    AAP40 rulebook> Page 20 >Conduct Convoy Disruptions:
“The economy of many nations is often based on moving tons of resources across vast spans
of ocean. In war time, and especially during World War II, this movement was vital. Cargo
ships (not to be confused with the game’s transport ships, which carry military units) often formed convoys
for mutual support and protection. These convoys are subject to attack by enemy warships.”

Notice the “Cargo ships (not to be confused with the game’s transport ships, which carry military units)” part, that is why the sea zone may be empty to cause IPC loss.

    Bugoo is correct.

And what happens if let’s say Germany owns Normany and Italy owns Spain? There is one UK sub in SZ 105. Who loses the 2 IPC income? Or do they both lose it, in which case one sub delivers 2x2 IPC damage……  :?

Both lose it on their turn
