thanks for the reply
don’t worry about the parade the dancing girls backed out anyway:)
doesn’t look like it would impact that much
I think I’ll give it a go in the future
Good job coach….
I used 1/72 infantry
1/285 GHQ tanks and trucks
AAA Artillery
1/700 Tumbling Dice planes
1/2400 ships from Panzerschiffe
Oh GHQ is not good. Why didn’t you get skytrex?
What will happen is you will end up with bend off gun barrels. It’s only a matter of time.
also, the pieces need more color… the infantry bases are too plain. perhaps green or brown bases or matching bases to color of OOB pieces?
I like these Coach, got the ‘desert like’ feel, or the mountains. Love the fig variation as well. I don’t have any experience with the other mini companies… from the photos these look really good as far as detail goes…
Good stuff.

I have a lot of GHQ. GHQ make good stuff.
The only problem with the artillery and the tank is the gun.
It may bend or break up.
So I change the gun with brass part.
Never had other problem with it.
1/700 Tumbling Dice planes
Coach…What is tumbling dice plane?
The only problem with the artillery and the tank is the gun.
But that is on everything they make.
The warships turrets bend, the tanks bend, everything bends.
If you bought skytrex you would not have any problem or need to retrofit the tank with a new part to sustain it in play. Also, GHQ makes hollow tanks to save money.
Skytrex does not do this and the pieces have a higher ratio of metals as opposed to lead. In addition the scale, though they claim are the same… the GHQ are a little bit larger like C and C tanks.
GHQ does have better detail, but the cost for skytrex is less than that of GHQ.
Skytrex is about $1.20 per unit, GHQ is $10+ for 4 units (and sometimes 5 if these are small tanks)

Nicely done Coach, what type of paint did you use on the figures?
I am using Vallejo paints.
I do use a spray primer before I paint them.
