• Question: can a tank blitz through a newly conquered territory to attack an adjacent territory. e.g. - an army wipes out Karalia but has left a tank out of the battle in Norway, after Karalia is conquered, can that tank blitz through to attack Russia’s capital on that turn? If not, why not? We couldn’t find any clarification in the rules.

    thanks

  • Your attack on Karelia ends the combat phase of your turn. The next phase is non-combat movement, which does not allow any attacks. You will have to wait until your next turn to attack Russia, unless of course the Allies take back Karelia before then…

  • Field Marshall,

Does this apply to the board game as well. The question came up in a recent board game.

    thanks

  • All 3 edition rules follow that format. It doesn’t matter if your playing the board game or the CDROM…

  • In fact this rule applys to all the rules I’ve ever seen. You move into all combat, finish combat, you can no longer attack. Moving into Russia would be a combat movment, you got Karelia on the combat phase therefor you cannot do anymore combat movement.

  • In the given scenario all units entering Karelia (during the combat movement phase) attack defenders in Karelia. All attacks are considered simultaneous. There is no 1-2 punch!
