It took way way way too much time,
But I finally completed an Axis and Allies style Diplomacy map, for TripleA

You can download it:
http://sites.google.com/site/veqryn/documents/Diplomacy.zip

or you can use the map downloader link inside triplea:
http://sites.google.com/site/tripleaerniebommel/home/mods/TripleA_Quality_Mods_EB.xml

or if you still don't have triplea, get that here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/triplea/files/

The zip includes three games:

Diplomacy

Diplomacy: FFA Great War

Diplomacy: FFA v3 Rules (aa50 / Pacific 1940 units and rules)

Basically, the first xml tries be as close to the actual board game "Diplomacy" as possible.
There are some exceptions to this, because it is still Axis and Allies.

The second xml is the diplomacy map with greatwar units.  So basically it is a WW1 era free-for-all game.

And the third xml is what all of you guys would be most used to.  It is aa50 rules and units (plus tac bombers from pac40).

There are 3 map skins available
map skins are local skins, that you can switch to mid-game without saving or leaving.  really cool and under-used feature.

thx,
Veqryn

These pictures are only 1/3 of the size of the map

I have risk 2210 (I think we even played once). Isn't there an extra board you can get to and conquer the moon or something?

I had to answer this one myself. It's amazing what you can do when you google.

Answer: Star Wars Original Trilogy Edition.

Can we combine this with A&A on a Colonial Diplomacy map and play global?
