Alrighty, so I can forgive the fact that they didn't include any Navy Hellcats with this game, because you can just pull the ones out of Guadalcanal or whatever to make up for that... but is there any reason at all why they couldn't have a Chinese P-40 fighter mold?
Can anyone think of anything I could paint that looks like a P-40?  From any A&A set?  Something under about $10?
-I've seen allwork's set and he uses a Spitfire (not a big fan)
-I really don't wanna use a Navy Hellcat or P-38 on principle
-A&A Minis has a P-40 but it'd be more than twice as big as any other fighter on the board
-Theres a 1/144 model die-cast P-40 out there but it costs up to $50 if you can find it

Please help!

I used the BF109...I thought it looked more like the P40 than the spitfire.

I used one of the original fighters from A&A 2nd edition. Doesn't matter what color since you need to paint it. Looks pretty good.

I use the P-40 from Brookhurst Hobbies (6 for $3.28):

It looks pretty good when spray painted olive drab green.

For a slightly larger plane, you can use the SBD Dauntless:
