How to get CD after discontinuation?

let us know if you recall/find the name again Woodstock. i know for a fact that the old PC game won’t work on anything newer than XP. very frustrating, as i used to get my A&A fix this way when nobody wanted to play with me  :cry:

I installed the game on my work laptop, and it runs for about 30 seconds and then completely disappears.
I didn’t have “administrator rights” on my computer when I installed it.  Does this prevent me from playing, and is there a way to circumvent this?

Does the game work with XP?

I appreciate any help I can get.  Not being able to play when I’m out of town is killing me!!

The for an ally’s territory when that ally’s capital has fallen is…

If the territory is liberated from the enemy, then the ally nation that liberated it gets control of it and any infrastructure (AA, IC) that are present.  This includes collecting income.  However, upon liberation of the capital that originally owned that territory, ALL such “protectorates” return to the original nation immediately.

Ally nations cannot seize control of “hold out” territories where the vestiages of a previous ally are still “holding out” against the enemy despite the loss of their capital.

I think during 1812 the US crushed the Laker fleet of the British. I believe your victorous admiral reported back to your president “We have met the enemy, and he is mine”, after capturing 1/2 the brit fleet and sinking the other half (or there abouts, you get the picture).

As for as congress and declarations… A rose by any other name is still… :-)
