American Civil War (Eagle Games)

The Shogun is a TripleA map and currently in Beta and is still therefore a WiP.

It is a collaborative map between Ebbe (Graphics) & TheDog (Code)

A historical map set about 1561 Japan, intended for many players to play a Free for All with the balance being played by the Hard AI 11 playable factions, comprising 10 Samurai Clans and the Ikko Ikki with Wako Pirates collectively called the The Rebels, all in their starting historical Provinces/Territories Clan Politics has 3 relationships, War (default), Neutral and Allied Large size map 11264x6140px, amongst one of the largest TripleA maps, with Unit size equivalent to 68x68px (54x54px x1.25 unit size). It is hoped that this is usable on 4K screens. The map has lots of Mountain Passes, lots of uncrossable Mountains and Rocky Shores channelling forces.

Well, it seems like Topmat has vanished from the forum. Too bad. Our second game was just underway and could have become interesting.
I do hope everything is alright for my former chess opponent.

Has anyone here given this a try?

How does it compare to other aircraft/spacecraft dog-fighting games? Are the minis as decent as the marketing makes them seem?

I thought there was already a topic on this, but I couldn’t find it.

So, I played this twice last year with 5 friends.  The first game (for all of us) I won as the Starks on the super rare third (and final) tie breaker by a dollar (I think that’s how it went).  The second game we got too drunk and someone dropped a phone on the board and screwed up the entire placement, so it was left out.

Anyway, does anyone have an opinions on it?  I’d love to talk strategy, especially since it’s been almost a year since we played and I’d like a refresher.  had some ideas but don’t know how they’d work out.

Very balanced game it feels like, even though it’s fairly complicated.

I have a topic for that under Panzerblitz/PanzerLeader. A very good game I like the beach scenrios.

I must admit, i prefer Go, even though i am not good at it at all. I once got beaten on a 9x9 field with four stones given to me in front. Even though it was close, it was a lesson.
