I think we'll definitely go with the first 32 that sign-up.  I don't want to have to worry about any brackets bigger than that.   

If we do get anyone after 32, you can be alternates.  We do have a lot of new people here, so no-shows could be a possibility.

I have no specific date in mind, but if we get 32 some time this week, then maybe we can get some thing going for next week.

I'll have to check out the calender too, figure 4-5 weeks per rd, and were looking at 5-6 months.  If all goes well, I'd consider starting up a Tech Version at the tail end of this one.

Oh, open question to anyone, we will need a VC count as a way of winning other than surrender, so what is the normal or default VC total needed?

I don't usually play with them so I have no idea what the "standard" is.

I vote play until someone conceeds, but if the majority want VCs, then that's okay too.

I believe that this is the way that most people play, and playing for victory cities seems somewhat different.  I have never even played 1 VC game in any of the Axis and Allies versions.
