This is just a for-fun game, right? I haven't played a lot of AA50 but if you don't mind that, I can take you up on the game. Also, I'm not picky either about tech or no tech in Anniversary Ed, how about with tech for a little more excitement?

Ok, Tech it is.  Do you have a side preference?

I'm up for a AA50-42 pbem.  If you have skills and are looking for a game, send me a PM.  No tech, NOs, allied bid, dice or ll your choice.  TripleA PBEM.

I am open for a game of AA50

However I can not guarentee a fast paced game.  I should be able to do my turn in a day {or two} but there are times that I could have a delay or two.  If so, I will always inform my opponent about the delay as soon as I can (beforehand in most cases).

So if you might want a game against a 20+ game AA50 experienced player with this resume:

Quote
Since 1986 I have played 1st edition, 2nd edition, LOTS of CD-rom games.  I won an online tourney (Spring1942) Winter Open and they shipped a copy of A&A Pacific to my house!  Only played that one twice.

Played many Revised games and now AA50.  Helped create AARe with several other good players.  Have held the Enhanced title for couple of years now.  I played in the Spring 2008 Revised singles tourney here and got lucky and won that (rolloff).

Please PM me.  I am open to play either side.  NOs make the game more fun with the increased IPCs.  Tech is interesting.  If you like tech, I like to play by a modified version of tech (heavily influenced by the tech rules/concepts from AARe HERE.  I think those tech rule eliminates some of the randomness STILL inherant in the AA50 tech rules.  I can be persuaded to play either way though.

One last request.  Since I have limited time to play I would prefer to play against an opponent with at least 10 games AA50 experience.  Nothing personal and I understand if people might look down at me with such a requirement.  If I do not find an opponent, then I don't get to play.

Thanks, and good gaming!

Prefer either PBEM using battlemap or PBF with battlemap as well.  Triple A is not for me at this time.

I'm looking to play my first AA50 game.  1941 and probably play with the National Objectives.  I don't care whether we do tech.  I'd like to use ABattlemap.

Any takers?

It's been quite a while AKreider. Where have you been? I will be willing to show you the ropes of 41. Do you care which side you want to play? Let me know and we can get started. Good to see you back. JWW

I was going to say exactly the same thing. Welcome back, Akreider2.

Why are we posting in this thread, anyway? It's 2010. Shouldn't the new Leagues be up and running by now? Where's Darth? That slacker!

When will the 2010 league be up and running?

I guess DM needs:

1) Calculate and post the results for 2009 leagues
2) Decide the bid system (I guess it will be the same as Revised, but bidding for allies)
3) Decide if do separate leagues for 41 and 42 scenarios or make a mixed league and if include tech

I guess we'll start the league in a week or two. Give him time, is a time consuming duty making the results and such  smiley
