• During your turn does the Axis for example plan all their attacks or can they be done individually and be completed one by one before moving to another hex to the attack there?
Does one side complete all their attacks before the other side does theirs?

    Thanks

  • During the first turn of the game only the Axis attacks. So they get to decide which of their hexes to begin attacking from and perform attacks with thier remaining hexes in any order they choose.

Begining with the second turn the side that wins initiative determines which of their hexes they will attack from first. Then choosing a hex to attack from alternates until either all units have attacked or both sides no longer wish to attack.

If a hex is splitting its attack up among multiple adjacent hexes complete all of those attacks before moving on to the next player or hex if it is Germany’s first turn.

  • Thanks so you do not have to preplan all your attacks at once you can do one at a time correct?

    Thanks for the quick answer.

  • Official Q&A

No, you don’t have to preplan attacks.  You can decide each time you get the initiative which hex you will attack from.

  • Thanks again. Is the initiative roll only done once at the beginning of each turn? except for the 1st obviously.

  • Official Q&A

You roll once per turn for air combat initiative (starting on the Black turn) and once per turn for ground combat initiative (starting on the Blue turn).
