• I am just curious to how this is handled as it was never clear to me.

As an example say I move a transport 1 space and empty its cargo into a combat zone, how do I handle the transports movements in the non-combat step?  Does he still have 1 movement left or is he stuck there since he committed to an amphibious assault?

I am sure there are many scenarios to which this could apply, I just started playing this game so forgive me if this is extremely easy information to attain…the rule book itself is kind of overwhelming at first glance.

    thanks

  • Offloading unit from a transport ends the transport move, so you are right, the transport have to stay in the sea zone where you effected the landing.

  • 1.  Unloading units from a transports ends the transport’s move.
    2.  If you move a unit in combat movement, you can’t move it in noncombat.  (The exception to this rule is air units)

  • Thats good news.

The only tricky move in combat and non-combat of the same unit is armor, really.  Armor may blitz into and out of combat during the combat move phase. (Assuming the territory blitzed was empty.)

Other then that, “combat” ends all movement.  (Aircraft exempted.)
