Could they land on a second undamaged allied(or one of their own) carrier if one was in the same sea zone? Also same situation but an undamaged carrier in the sea zone next to the planes?
Assuming there is room on the carrier, yes.

They can try to land or they have to land?
If they can land, then land them. If they cannot, they are removed as a casualty. I couldn't possibly see why anyone would choose to have them as casualties for no reason.

If two US carriers were attacked by a Japanese submarine, and there were no US destroyers present, the fighters on the carrier that got damaged would not be lost in the air. They would be stuck on the deck of the carrier until the carrier could get to a friendly naval base for repairs. Since planes can not hit submarines without a friendly destroyer present, if a submarine attacks a carrier there is no reason for the planes to take off from the carrier. They would simply have to withstand the attack aboard the carrier like cargo on transports in hopes that the carrier's own anti-sub defenses can get the sub or the sub breaks off the attack. Therefore, you would not lose your planes if the carrier only took one hit. However, say your carrier is next to a friendly island or coast and gets attacked by a pack of subs that gets two hits on that carrier. Then you would lose your planes even though they are just 1 space away because they never took off from the carrier because planes can't hit submarines. That part sucks.
All of that is wrong. The planes are always in the air and thus if the CV is damaged, they have to land within 1 space or die. Calvin is correct. The only times planes are considered in Cargo on a CV is when they are your allies planes, at which point they are not in the air until that players turn.

yepp... I figured The islands in the south are key I guess.... Having control of the Pacific, especially those Islands, and China is pretty much required for Japan to compete if the US is spending their income in the Pacific. If they are spending it in the Atlantic, by attacking them round one, you bring all kinds of heck down on the Euro-axis with that bonus.

Hey there,
just one quick question here... Me and my boys were playing the Global Map yesterday, and I was thinking about United States IPC´s. If US is at war with Japan they will recieve 30 IPC bonus... That is correct right?! BUT... Does that mean that they will receive 82 IPC total considering that their starting IPC is 52?
Is this correct?
regards
To simplify .. Yes, the 30 IPC's is a bonus in addition to your base IPC collection (So if you are at 52, you get 52 + 30). And yes, you get that +30 added to your base IPC's for the rest of the game, each and every turn.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what are Pantone codes?
Pantone is a professional Color Matching system. Each color possible has a number code associated with it that determines the exact mix of base colors to end up with that specific final color. It's used to ensure that anyone who wants a specific color will always have that same color (Or *should*), even if you have to mix up a new batch of ink/paint/dye.

Does anyone know when FMG will be releasing French and ANZAC dice? That is a product I have been looking for with no luck because it probably doesnt exist
They are being released at the same time as the Italian Combat Units. Which is currently in pre-order and so they are hoping to have them before Christmas (but no guarantees).

WotC was inconsistent in the past - but they have a standard color palette now.
They may have a SEMI-standard color palette now .. but definately not 100% standardized. I'm currently painting my pieces. In 1 set of AA50 and 2 Spring 1942 sets, looking at just the USA pieces right this moment I see 3 different tank shapes and 2 different greens. Looking at my naval units, there are 3 shades of Orange for the Japanese, 2 shades of tan for the UK, 2 shades of green for the US .. To say they have it down to a standard palette is too generalized. CLOSE in shades, yes, but the SAME shades, absolutely not!

I would always goe with 1 inf + 1 artillery per transport, unless you've got a few extra IPC's floating around and want to throw in a tank on a larger landing force (I would never go more than 1 tank with 2 inf and an artillery though .. and even then I'd be more inclined to go with 3 transports with 1 tank, 3 inf, 2 art if I'm using tanks at all). It's all a matter of cost vs. effectiveness really.

Seems perfectly reasonable to me the way it is. If you're going for tech AND you happen to get Jet Fighers, you don't need Tac's any more .. so what? The chances are slim that it will happen, and at great expense typically. And if you have jets you wouldnt need the Tac's any more anyway.
That's the advantage of technological advancement. They make old tech obsolete.

The british destroyers do not allow the US bombers to attack. That would be a violation of the Joint Forces attacking rule. You need your own destroyers in the sea zone in order to negate the subs abilities to submerge and/or not be attacked by air units.
The only time those british destroyers would be helpful to the US is if they were defending as well.
