Good news for you all, i wrote a program that takes care of all the banking based off user input on units purchased and territories captured. The program writes a game report for every turn which includes each country's starting money for that turn, what they purchased, the territories they captured, technologies gained that turn, the time the turn took, ect ect. Not only is this very awesome to look through after a long game but it greatly increases game play speed and tracks much more information that stated above. Check out my website, the program is available for download and I'd love to hear all comments. I hope this is up your alley! http://sites.google.com/site/dkat106inc/axis-and-allies-v2-00?previewAsViewer=1Please try it out!

Axis & Allies / Software / A&A Banker Program
|

After many long games me and my group were looking for a way to make the games not last days. Being a CS major I decided to write a program to handle all the banking by having the user simply input what they wish to purchase and what territories they took over each turn. This program has significantly improved game play and I highly suggest trying it for at least one game. The program has evolved to become a very useful tool, keeping track of much more than just purchase orders and territory control. I have it available to download at http://sites.google.com/site/dkat106inc/axis-and-allies-v2-00?pli=1 Please download it and give it a try and let me know what you think!

Axis & Allies / Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition / Axis and Allies Banker debugging!!

Hey everyone, If you're reading this, then I assume, like me, you love a good game of axis and allies. Throughout the many games I have played with my friends the one thing that was always the worst about playing was having to be the banker, and the banking system in general. Its very time consuming, takes up more space, and is a messy way to keep track of income. A while ago I wrote a program that does all the purchasing and income for the game, specifically the 50th anniversary edition, and me and my friends found it to be a great edition to playing. The program works by having you enter in what you are going to purchase, and then the territories you capture on your turn, and based off this information keeps track of purchases throughout the game and each countries income. It also automatically does bonuses and calculates in technology benefits. (if you'd like to give the program a try you can download it at: http://sites.google.com/site/dkat106inc/axis-and-allies-banker ) After using this program for some time I have decided to write a newer version of it and currently need help debugging some of the errors that are bound to occur in different situations. If anyone would like to give a hand please email me at dkat106@charter.net, it would be greatly appreciated. Also all suggestions of features to be added are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Yea but its not that hard to come by a laptop, and then you can have music going and having all the banking automated makes the turns go a lot faster. It has worked out really well for me and my friends I just want others to be able to try it out. I highly suggest giving it a shot it really does make things easier
