When you think about the Iowa Caucuses or the NH primary keep in mind the numbers effect that those states have on the election.  For example, the county I live in +- 4Mill is realy close to equal the population of the States of Iowa +-2.9Mil and NH +-1.3Milcombined.  And I live in Arizona, not exactly know for it's grand metropoli...

So what I'm saying is if your going to have a "preview" primary it might as well be in a state that has virtualy no effect other wise on the outcome of the election.  I am sure that is what the NH primary is all about.

It seems to me that Iowa is like a big poll that allows many canidates to quit when they realize thier odds are slim.  The majoraty of the canidates it seems are just trying to push thier pet issue in to the spot light.  Iowa gives them the chance to do that then drop out and throw thier support toto the camp of someone who actualy has a chance of winning.  I can't wait to see who Ron Paul supports when he finaly admits that he can't win...

Wow this thread is flowing fast...
i'm not an expert on how Caucus' work, i'm sure most people arn't, so with out knowing how they work exactly it looks like what you said was politically backed. now if what you say is true (i have no reason to doupt you, i'm just saying) then it's not political in the way i thought it sounded before. but it dosn't change that with out knowing how caucus' work accuratlly it did look that way, and with that it did look wrong that you were asking another to tread carfully when it looked like you your self did other wise.
Well the jist is, I wasn't sure how this thread would go over and I was tring to keep the political tone low.  Jen is known for her political "out spokenness"  and truth be told I am closely aligned with her politicaly Smiley  Of course you are relatively new here and don't know any of that...

I gota say I would have loved to discuss a "caucus" with someone who has been to one, especialy a Democratic one.
if any thing this seams to me to be more political then Jen's statment as you brought a perticular party up. is it because you would want to go to the Dem Caucus because you support the Dems or because you would get a good laugh out of it. ether interpritation would be political.
I mentioned the Democratic Caucus, because it is different than the Republican style.  The Republicans just vote and go home.  The Democrats have a series of votes from what I understand.  But Like I said I havn't been to one...

As I see it so far this is a current events discussion, I may be out voted, but I think as long as we can avoid discussing political oppinion it's ok with me.  Notice I haven't mentioned who my favorite is or how he did...

I think the process in interesting, from a cultural stand point.

Jen, when I said "been to a caucus" I meant ever, as in previous years.  It sounds like fun to me, but since I've never been to one I wouldn't know.

I've played it, it's pretty good, but it's huge, the western front is a pull out window.

The main problem I had with it is the Western front is too easy to bypass.  It is way shorter to go through Northern Italy and just hold on the Western Front until you surround it.

Of course I have limited experience aganst live opponents, mostly just played against the computer or my self.  I have played half a game and then switched sides...

It's a fun set up and the guys here have been pushing me to set up a multi player game with a couple hours a week type schedule.

Good stuff, I think I may make some CDs, it would be nice to have one for each country, or at least an axis and an allied.  Did the Japanese have something similar to these?  It seems pretty European...

I'd like to clean up some old files. I'm thinking about deleting ALL attachments older than 9 months. This would include any images and game files uploaded. Does that seem reasonable?
More than reasonable, I doubt anyone looks back that far anyway.

Lest some forget that He is the reason for the celebration.
Too many people think that it is about Santa Claus, and giving presents, and eating feasts in front of the TV watching some football game.
LOL, I don't forget, I just don't care.  Besides, Santa is Cooler than Jesus, Jesus cuts my grass.
