I played a 5 player game on Gleemax last night, not bad, some good guys some inexperience, but it was fun.

Well considering that a transport in revised can carry as much as 8 IPC worth of "prcessed materiel I would say a transport should be able to carry at least that if not more...

I don't see why you couldn't come up with a rule for captuing materiel, that's how it works on land, and I supose materiel was captured in the war, I would say unescorted transports should have a chance of capturing a portion of the materiel.

I've played tripleA with friends, is there a site to get pick-up games?  That's what I like about the gleemax set-up, like I said it reminds me of the Zone on MSN.

I would imagine it would slow it down.  I also think you would have to start with a full turn of "materials" in your capital to represent pervious shipping, you would also probably have to give a couple extra transports out to start, other wise the begining of the game would be slow.

I have several blown up maps that I never play on, I have original, world at war (zeno), Revised and a couple I modified myself.  I don't use them I do loan them to members of my group, but I wouldn't get rid of them.

If you own the land you can move them a set distance each turn this would be done with rail, trucks etc.

So is anyone playing at gleemax?  I tried a game today and I gota say I like it.  It reminds me of the old days at the zone.  Nothing like a pick up game with 4 others when one or two guys have no Idea what they're doing.

I only tried a game against the AI, which was predictably easy, bu tI like the mechanics, it took most of the game to catch on to all the functions.  Over all I like it though.

I'd say it's pretty ballenced, I could have deployed better and made a couple changes to my build, but the basic Idea for the poles is to delay as long as possible.  This is definately an interesting senario and was a fun one to play.
