646  Axis & Allies / Axis and Allies Revised Edition / Re: Russian Troop Question on: July 22, 2008, 08:14:47 am
That is a very good point to consider.  You don't want Germany cashing in on Russia's income by retaking Moscow.

Yeah, but what if you know they are 2-3 turns away?

Would you take Moscow with Russian troops if you knew they could take it but not hold it?

I think I would b/c then I know Germany can't build in Russia for at least one more turn.

Well, yes they were destroyed.  I wonder if they could have made a trans-Atlantic with or without a payload.

Hey all,

What do you do with the Russian troops if you were the allies and Moscow was taken by the Germany?

I have seen two very diffrent courses take place.  1) bum rush Moscow with every troop that can reach even if there is a slim to no chance of retaking it.  2) bide your time mass your troops possibly on an allied territory and waite for the UK / US to retake it for you.

I was just wondering what other players would do.

Will the Iron Blitz work on Windows Vista?  I know that the Hasbro version doesn't.

If you went by Genisis (sorry if I am stepping on toes here)  some where around day 4 or 5 animals and birds were made.  Man wasn't made until day 6 if I remember correctly.

If evolution is in fact the way things did happen I think that we can all agree the human beings are more complex so they would have had to come later.

But who knows I don't think we will ever know in this life.

The  Me-264 could reach New York City.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Me_264

The Me-264 had a range of 9,500 miles.

I used google earth to map the distance from the following:

Quimper, France: 3,376 miles
Brest, France: 3,350 miles

I don't know if they could carry a payload and make it that far or not.

I also don't know if the two above cities in France even have an air field.  I figure that was minor they are easy enough to build. I just picked those places b/c they seem to be larger cities that were "close."

Helium may be cheaper but ratio wise it would have to be b/c Hydrogen is ligher so you would need more Helium.

I think our best bet would be an electic-magnetic rail system in the US.

Now riddle me this, could evolution been put in place by a divine power?

That doesn't mean that a God or God-like entity didn't also use other (additional) means for creationism.

Here's a novel idea every one pays 22% income tax we abolish all other taxes in the US and lay off the entire IRS. No tax deductions, no loop holes, no credits, just a flat 22% tax on income only.

And if we really want to clean house I say we abolish the federal level census offices.  Just add the numbers from the state offices.  H*** I'll do that for the federal government for $50,000.00 a year. We just saved millions.
