1  General / Axis & Allies Customizations / Re: LHoffman's Painted Sculpts For Your Consideration on: April 22, 2013, 11:05:41 am
I dont criticize, i was just curious. Now i know Smiley and i personally thinks it looks better with a roundel on both wings, i never understood why they only had it on one wing, anyone knows?

I guess its the same reason why some of you put stars on the wings of the soviet air units!

Awesome work, as usual!

I have a question though, why do you have decals on both wings? Since everything else is historical accurate and very detailed, why did you add a decal on the right wing?

hahah funny too see that germans think Italy was allied, when the rest of the world think they were Axis. But i kinda agree with Germany, they did more harm than good.
also funny too see that under the cathegory Axis, there are no Japan... ^^

Thank you, im not happy with the US star, i hate doing stars, they always look crooked. Tobad my russian carriers will probably never see action Sad

You could just houserule a Russian carrier starting in the Baltic- hey, it is your house, your rules!

Awesome!

Can you post pictures of the other units? Fighters, bombers, tanks, artillery, and ships? It would be appreciated!

11  Axis & Allies / Axis & Allies Spring 1942 Edition / Re: G1 Italy move? on: November 02, 2012, 11:48:32 am
During combat phase, load the units onto the transport, move the transport and attack Smiley not harder thatn that! Also, move in your units from libya. You can only retreat with your libyan forces though.

Been painting some of my new 1941 units, here are some of the new units joining their armies/navies.

UK with Hood, their new transports and submarines replacing their old ones, so that they now have unique pieces on the board.

Japanese Kogo class BB with their new submarines replacing their old uglier ones. I also painted the japanese FWs into Nakajima ki-43.

German tigers with their new Focke-Wulf Fw 190

Swedo,

The decals I suggest you use are from I-94 Enterprises. They have a very wide selection,...and you can preview the decal sheets by looking at the "scans" section. I love how they make my units look.

"Tall Paul"

ah, tobad i didnt see that 6 months ago... would have been awesome! too late now i guess :/
