i could try to get more chips but even then the stuff already set up is smashed onto the board, the easier thing to do would be to just scale some the setup down. like for the USSR they start out with like 30 subs on the board that's crazy!  Oh my gosh, thats alot! We have blue chips that represent 10 units which help

i tried setting it up again with three games worth of chips and only got through 5 counties still had to set up neutrals and C China
Holy Crud, Thats bad. Maybe Right down neurtrals on pieces of papers, when you ativate them they become pieces. Buy 1 bag of chips at HBG for $5 (40 chips) and you can set up china. Maybe buy some blue or yellow chips that are 10 units at HBG to.

Operation Bagration. Red Army assault on Nazi Germany in a total war murderfest.� Can the Wehrmacht delay the inevitable rape of Berlin long enough to surrender to the western democracies, or will the German people fall into Communist depravity? lol Seriously, I like this. I don't know why Larry won't make an Eastern Front title; I don't see a problem with it myself. Okay, so the forces of democracy aren't being represented but come on! Let's just have a Russians vs Germans game already, it would be so cool! And I'm sure we would all buy it.  That would so FUN! And I know! Why cant their be a Eastern front title! You could choose like 3 dates to choose from to start! (1941, 1942, 1943)

It's why i said Market Garden. I'm alittle hard pressed to come up with another game that fits those. Maybe Iwo Jima
Let me think, Market garden, Iwo Jima, Anzio, and what if a Pearl Harbor maybe? Oh I just thought, a battle for berlin would be AWESOME! But no americans

Whole new genre. Napoleonic or WW1. Maybe even medieval knights would be cool. Call that last one "Axes and Armour". lol smart! Didnt larry say he is not making a N. Africa? So that hopes are gone. Any Eastern Front game will not be made cause US is not in it, So maybe market garden. Also, I would be curious of a 1939 one, though I doubt it will be as good as HBG's 39.

I agree with LB.
Infantry spam would be the way to go.
I used to be able to buy 6 inf, OR a battleship. now I can buy 16 inf... Same for tanks as LB mentioned... 4 inf to 1 tank, instead of 2.
This was enough of a probably in classic, that some people said "Infantry breaks the game".
The other concept you could try... divide all current costs by 1/2, and make it mandatory to buy 2 infantry for $3. You could also pick an arbitrary number for tac's. (honestly they should cost the same as fighters, they are no better or worse). Make transports cost 4.
Theoretically, the dice effect on the game would diminish, because you'd have so many units on the board... but then managing units, or the "potential" of units - like when trying to calculate if you can defend your capital, become burdensome.
Yeah I know how much inf they will be, Russia buys 36 Infantry every turn. I may try this for AA41.
Yeah, this would be great for aa41, cause the units will be so little, like germany attacking with 7 Infantry, 3 tanks, 2 fighters.
