Same answer, just more terse Smiley

The "spotting range" requirement is usually listed on the attacking unit.  You go by whatever it says, barring any other ruling or effect.

I'm an old-school player, so my memory of the revised stats is not as good.  Tigers used to have Superior Armour (with a different game effect) but the new Tigers have what used to be called Hulking Mass?  Remove the first damage counter against this unit (once per game)>  If that's the one then here's the answer:

While I don't agree with it in the 1st case, the ruling last I knew was that it is destroyed in neither case.  The ruling was along the lines of the following:

The hit markers are effectively placed sequentially.  As you place the hit markers, the 1st is a disrupt hit marker, the second is a damage hit marker, and is immediately removed.  A third hit counter (from doubling the rear defense) goes down and because there are two on the unit it is a damage hit marker.

The one with 2 shots is easier.  The first shot of 2 gets reduced to one hit marker, and the 2nd shot does one more hit marker.  Damaged.

No he doesn't have the Chatting on the Radio disability and he doesn't have any extra cover abilities.  He can just be used as a spotter for units with abilities like Indirect fire.

Yes, they rock.  They are also expensive at 7 pts per.

Note that they count as a spotter for other unit that require spotting.  The range themselves have no other implied abilities from that attribute.

You can always play online right here.  We used to have a whole group on here that played.

They can only fire "in front" which, in AAM, is basically the 3 hex-side arc that you are facing.

Anything with Blast, as long as the original target is not the sniper.

You can always toss in a Paratrooper and/or Wehrwolf Partisan to get to the sniper.

My personal favorite are a couple of BMW's...they are generally fast enough to get adjacent to the sniper.  If you include them, be sure to have a Grizzled Veteran in your build as well.

Yes, he can be hit in this case.

I believe that was the new starter, after they re-released the set with a consistent (and larger) vehicle scale.  There has since been several releases for the various theaters, and WotC relased new revised unit stats on PDF as well.

Wow, go away for a while and all hell breaks loose.

 shocked shocked shocked

From my prior research on the matter, there are lot of changes you can make to mitigate such copyright claims but at the end of the day it comes down to who has a lawyer on retainer...
